Community Connection

  • Wellbeing is about more than coping with stress, it also includes doing what makes life fun and meaningful. There are many ways to access these things.
  • Local community organisations based on interest, age, culture or religious affiliation can be wonderful sources of community connection and fun.
  • Organisations such as Council on the Aging ACT (COTA ACT) may be able to assist.
  • There are a range of Seniors Groups that operate throughout the ACT that could help stay connected to the community. Read about Seniors Groups here: https://communityservices1.org/seniors-groups/
