Thriving Without Driving · interactive learning

Educational videos, interviews & activities.

This is evidence-based interactive learning that focuses on supporting people who are considering retirement from driving, are currently retiring from driving, or have already retired from driving. It has been developed as part of a research project by experts in road safety and clinical psychology from the Australian Catholic University. You can read more about the development of the module here

How the interactive learning works.

Part 1

Adjusting to the prospect of stopping driving.

Part 1 focusses on managing your wellbeing during the driving retirement transition. It is designed to help you become aware of what you value about driving, how the transition from driving makes you feel, and how you can support yourself and get support in making the transition from driving.

Download the worksheets

Print, fill in, keep.

The worksheets are available as a single PDF booklet that you can download and work on. The booklet is designed in large print and is friendly to write on by hand.

Some people find they will come back to the booklet over time to refer to what they wrote down or add new ideas. This is exactly how it is meant to be used.
